  1. International Conference on" “India China Cultural Resonance”  to be held in Cheena Bhavana, Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan,from November, 03-04, 2017 on the occasion of  Celebrating 80 years of the establishment of Cheena Bhavana and 90 years of Prof. Tan Yunshan’s arrival  to India

  2.  Invitation to the Opening Ceremony of Teacher's Training Course of Cheena-Bhavana.

  3.  HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) Test will be held on Sunday December 04, 2016 at The School of Chinese Language in Kolkata. 

  4. A 22 member,  Student - teacher delegation visited Visva-Bharati Cheena Bhavana from 18th to 22nd february, 2016. This tour was under the MOu between Visva-Bharati University, India and Yunnan University, China

  5. A Chinese Quize Compititation will be held at Cheena Bhavana jointly organised by Visva Bharati and the Consulate Office of the People's Republic of China at Kolkata on 25th January 2016. On this occassion a Lion dance team will perform.

  6. In order to promote the people to people exchange between India and China , the Consul General of People’s Republic of China in Kolkata is  sending  a student and teacher team from Cheena Bhavana and two teachers from Visva-Bharati University from 27th December 2015 to  2nd January 2016 to Yunnan, China.

  7. An eighteen (18) member’s delegation from Taiwan visited Cheena-Bhavana, Visva-Bharati on 14th October, 2015.

  8. An eight (8) memberhigh level delegation from in Delhi visited Cheena-Bhavana, Visva-Bharati on 14th October, 2015.

  9. Department of Chinese Language & Culture, Cheena-Bhavana, Visva-Bharati and Institute ofChinese Studies, Delhi in collaboration with the Association of Asia Scholars, Delhi organized an International Conference on HELD on 26th and 27th September, 2015. Consul General of China in Kolkata Mr. Ma Zhanwu inauguratedthe International Conference.

  10. Visit of Yunnan Nationality University Delegation to Cheena-Bhavana on 4th September, 2015.

  11. Departmentof Chinese Language & Culture ( Cheena-Bhavana), Visva-Bharati in association with Consulate Office of the people’sRepublic of China in Kolkatajointly organized the 2nd Hieun Tsang Chinese level Competitionon 29th August 2015 at Cheena-Bhavana, Visva-Bharati.

  12. A fifty (50) member’s delegation from China, and Thailand visited Cheena-Bhavana, V.B . on 24th August, 2015.
